ABOUT TONYA
A Lifelong Advocate for Justice and Equity

ADVOCATE FOR ROCHESTER
As a fourth-generation Rochestarian, I bring a unique perspective to City Council. My lived experience—from houselessness to raising Black sons in a city grappling with systemic inequities—has shaped my commitment to creating radical, lasting change.
I’m not running to be a career politician but to work alongside the people of Rochester to build a city that works for everyone. My organizing experience and lived experiences, combined with my deep roots in this community, make me uniquely qualified to represent you on City Council.
